The aftermath of the fires is beginning to set in. The tally of structures lost is still growing. Here’s a discussion of smoke taint from the San Francisco Chronicle. And here’s info on what smoke taint really is.

On a brighter note, rebuilding is already underway.

Then again, climate change is difficult to deal with on its own. Add in that it’s still a bit of a political football, and it’s tough to find the right path.

And finally, the audacity of crime. Think this Lake Tahoe wine thief had a buyer in mind? Or was he stealing for his personal cellar?
