If you’re looking for something a little different to stock, Firefly Distillery of South Carolina is channeling its southern roots with the release of its Firefly Moonshine line of flavored moonshines. The 750ml bottles will be available in a range of flavors: Apple Pie, Caramel, Cherry, Peach, Strawberry and White Lightning.
On a sad note, Jim Barrett, the man who helped put California wines on the map when his chardonnay won the blind tasting in 1976 that came to be known as the Judgement of Paris, has died. Chateau Montelena continues to operate and will now be managed by Jim’s son Bo. Jim was 86.[/level-members]
