Seafood Pairings

April 5th, 2013

Here are some great seafood recipe pairing ideas from the fine folks at Snooth.com. [level-members]

They’ve taken the traditional tack of white wine with fish except for meatier, more toothsome fish like tuna.

We’d encourage you to be more adventurous. There are so many great rosés on the market now, and many make a fine accompaniment to fish. Lighter reds – chilled, if the evening calls for it – work well, too.

Most importantly, when a customer asks for a bottle to go with fish, or anything for that matter, ask how they’re preparing it. That makes all the difference in the world. Big bold flavors demand big, bold wines.
