As rosés have made a comeback in the marketplace, we’ve found that there are some great, affordable rosés pretty widely available. They come in a variety of styles – still and sparkling – and from regions as varied as Provence to California to Rioja.
Here are some pairing ideas to help you sell rosés this weekend. In fact, here’s a whole menu’s worth: [level-member]
To start, how about adapting this Asparagus-Cheese Tartine recipe as a starter course or a pre-meal nibble. (All recipes are from Food & Wine this week.)
Then, perhaps a salad of Baby Lettuce with Feta, Strawberries and Almonds. A rosé from Provence would accompany perfectly.
And finally, we have Chicken with Slow-Roasted Tomatoes and Cheesy Grits, which you might pair with a rosé Champagne.
We’ll leave dessert to you, but this all-rosé-friendly meal is a nice way to cap a crisp spring day.
