How to Increase Wine Shop Profits

For most of us, there are only two ways to increase our business:

  – get more customers

 – get existing customers to buy more

In the coming weeks we’ll devote our Wednesday marketing tips to  about how to increase business on both these fronts since success means the kinds of increase in profitability that will allow you to expand beyond your local market if you wish to. [level-members]

In the meantime, have a look at the two bullet points above and give some thoughts to how you might go about attacking these areas separately. Our first tip: both of these can be broken down even further. For example, getting existing customers to buy more can be accomplished by getting them to buy more bottles each time they come in, buying higher priced bottles, or coming in to the shop more frequently.
