Cabernet & Pork Tenderloin – Food & Wine Pairing

With the weather cooling down in earnest now, it’s time to look at some comfort food pairings. Pork tenderloin is a favorite in our house. [level-members]

We almost always grill tenderloin – it’s a great way to get a nice sear without overdoing it – but this recipe for broiled tenderloin from Touring And Tasting is quite good.

Their suggested pairing is a Wente Vineyards Southern Hills Cabernet Sauvignon. No need to be that specific. Any new-world style Cab will work well, even if the tomato salsa fights with it a bit.
