Worth Sharing – The Story of American Wine

November 5th, 2015

Despite what we would argue is an overabundance of big-brand wines at the low end of the market, you can find great wines in just about everyone’s budget, no matter how modest or Midas-like. That wasn’t always the case, and this book tells how we’ve gotten to this embarrassment of riches. [level-members]

Published this summer, “American Wine: A Coming-of-Age Story,” by Tom Acitelli lays out the history of fine wine in the US from the 1960s to today. An easy read because of Acitelli’s approach, it’s worth a read, worth having in the shop, and worth quoting from on social media and in email marketing. Here’s a link to the book on Amazon.
