Mother Nature is still having her way in France – and in California. (Though, honestly, that hard qualifies as news anymore in either place.) A look at how China slakes its thirst for wine. Immigration policy in the US, and more. [level-members]

It seems that Mother Nature isn’t quite done with wine growers in France.  Nor is she doing any favors to the California wine industry, which seems to have gone from dealing with drought to fighting mildew.

Further abroad, we have this interesting take on tourism vs. wine tourism, as well as which wine-producing countries are slaking China’s thirst.

Immigration policy isn’t any less complex when you lay it over the wine business.

Diageo is seeing strong growth, driven at least in part by scotch sales.
