Food and Wine Pairing – Summer Vegetable Tart and Pinot Noir

The fashion police may get you if you’re wearing white, it being after Labor Day and all, but the astronomers will tell you, it’s still summer! And your farmers market is probably still overflow with the bounty of this year’s harvest. [level-members]

Here’s a really nice vegetable tart to take advantage of all the season has to offer. And if your farmers market offers something different, don’t be afraid to wing it.

As for an accompaniment, we agree with the folks at The Latin Kitchen, a really nice Pinot will go wonderfully with this. And if it’s still edging toward hazy, hot and humid where you are, don’t be afraid to chill it down a bit.
