According to Shanken Daily, the Seven Daughters brand of Terlato continues on its torrid pace of growth in 2014. Most interesting to wine shop owners is that a fair amount of the growth is in the on-premise category. This kind of exposure can lead to more requests at the retail level. [level-members]
Overall, sales are up over 40% for the first part of 2014, this after seeing 34% growth in 2013. Nearly half – 46% – of the growth has been on-premise as the brand’s distribution has grown.
Bottlings, all of which typically sell for under $15 per bottle, include Moscato, Chardonnay, Crisp White Blend, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Rich Red Blend.
