If you’re not stocking a selection of Tawny Ports, now may be the time to start. [level-members]
Long considered by consumers to be less desirable than their ruby counterparts, tawny ports are getting a bit of a push from their producers, particularly in the US.
A wave of acquisition and consolidation is helping to push the trend, as vintage ruby port houses have begun to market their recently acquired stocks of tawnies. Fladgate has perhaps led this trend, with The Symington Group Grahame’s label, Dow and Warre’s not far behind.
