Climate change, causes for concern from Washington DC and Washington state. [level-members]

An op-ed contributor to the New York Times asks whether the Trump administration will “kill the bourbon boom.”

On Vinepair, they don’t want to be alarmist, but “climate change is killing terroir as we know it.” Now what? The Independent out of the UK is a bit more measured in its headline writing, but they still feel that climate change is “threatening wine making in the Mediterranean.”

And the Wine Industry Advisor thinks – and at first look, I would agree – that Amazon’s purchase of Whole Foods is a threat to local wine shops, among others.
