We’ve got two recipes on order today since fall arrives at a different pace across the country. And of course, we have wines to match. [level-members]
First, a twist on the very workaday roast chicken:
Good any time of year, of course, but accompanies roasted root vegetables and other fall favorites beautifully. And pairs nicely with Viogner if you in the mood for white or a red like Grenache or Shiraz – something with a touch of sweetness to marry nicely with the marinade.
A more complete departure from the norm is this fall take on lasagna:
Based on the name, you might be thinking “vegan glop, no thanks.” but a closer look shows sweet Italian sausage and a nice array of flavors in the form of mustard, nutmeg, and parmesan. You might recommend a light red, slightly chilled as an accompaniment.
