Good times, bad times in the US wine business, though problems here pale in comparison to those in Bordeaux and Chile. [level-members]
Times are pretty good for the US wine market, but trouble awaits in all direction. Including possible labor shortages as the current administration’s immigration policies become more clear.
If that’s not bad enough, legalized marijuana continues to gain ground, even in the heart of wine country.
Meanwhile, in Chile, one would think they’d trade their fire-related problems for those in the US in a heartbeat.
Similarly in France, where the fallout from the frosts in Bordeaux continues. (Though that seems not to be slowing the Chinese appetite for chateaux in the region.
