How about living a little high on the hog with lobster tails and chorizo on the grill? [level-members]
The May 31, 2014 issue of Wine Spectator includes a nicely different take on lobster, Grilled Montauk Lobster Tails and Chorizo. I don’t really think they need to be Montauk lobsters, but hey, who knows how naunced a palette the WS folks may have. Here’s the recipe.
Michael Lomonaco is the chef here and his wine pairing recommendation is a Ravines Riesling Finger Lakes Dry 2012. WS chimes in with their own favorites: Dr. Konstantin Frank’s Riesling Finger Lakes Dry 2012, which scores 89 and retails for about $15; or a Chateau St. Michelle Riesling Columbia Valley Dry 2012. (88 and $10)
Enjoy the fancy living!
